Listening to The Cactus Blossoms feels like stepping into a movie. Lights dim, bar stools scrape across the floor, spotlights come up on a small stage. Organ notes and steel guitar slides float along in the background while Everly Brothers worthy harmonies soar above cinematic instrumentals. It’s probably this quality that led David Lynch to ask the band to appear in an episode of his recent Twin Peaks remake.
