The Couch @ KUT 11/29/12

There isn’t a couch in Studio 1a. But on Thursday, The Couch will be in Studio 1a. The Couch is an Austin 4-piece indie rock outfit, which describes themselves on their website as “sweaty.” That description is fitting, not just because they perspire (though I’m sure they do), but because their music is loud and loose rock-pop. The band started as a trio of friends from Texas State University, and yes, the idea was conceived on a couch. The band’s fourth member, Sarah House, hopped on board later as an additional vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, really rounding out the band’s sound.
