The art of storytelling goes hand in hand with folk singers, however, few are able to convey raw emotion, wit and heartache as exceptionally as Nashville based singer-songwriter, Todd Snider. Tales intertwined with tongue in cheek humor, Snider is a master of his craft, all while wearing his thoughts on his sleeve. Tackling issues on religion, politics, and race relations, Snider lets his thoughts on the world fly with an honest rhetoric that feels reminiscent of Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark and other outlaw/alternative country/folk musicians.
Todd Snider came into Studio 1A on Friday to showcase his talent and play some of his music for us. If you weren’t able to hear him live, we got you covered, you can stream the session here, on KUTX.
