Amy Rosalyn: “Curb Appeal”

It’s hard these days to come by a musician who is truly a triple threat of vocals, lyrics, and songwriting, which makes Austin’s Amy Rosalyn a folking breath of fresh air. Putting her creative writing degree to expert use, Amy’s hand glides gracefully between her command of the pen and the six-string, weaving an intricate tapestry of poetic prowess and interesting technique. Her deep, smokey vocals glide over the dusty soundscape of the other instruments, allowing the powers of her voice and fingers to enhance, not inhibit, the other.

“Curb Appeal” appears on Precipice, out now via Banana Pop Records and available through her Bandcamp. Catch the EP release show this Friday at Radio Coffee and Beer.
