Ley Line: “Postcards”

You may remember our October 2019 Artist of the Month, Ley Line, the all-women quartet that formed a half decade back after sparks flew at Colorado’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Ley Line’s multi-cultural, language-fluid style captivated the Live Music Capital upon the release of their 2016 debut Field Notes and recaptured lightning in a bottle for last year’s We Saw Blue, whose content proved poignant and healing for the pandemic-stricken population.

KUTX is proud to present Ley Line this Friday at 3Ten ACL Live alongside Superfónicos’ Jaime Ospina, where these My KUTX veterans are set to screen the visual component of We Saw Blue in full. Fingers crossed that they’ll also perform their latest multi-lingual single, written during a Black Fret songwriting retreat this past April, produced by KUTX favorite David Garza, and guaranteed to make you feel like you’re close to family this Thanksgiving, “Postcards”.
