This week, the Song of the Day features ACL Fest 2017 artists.
Nashville’s Reggie Williams, AKA R.LUM.R, possesses an infectious sense of warmth and soul in his songwriting. Inspired by an array of artists ranging from Anita Baker to Pink Floyd to Sneaker Pimps, R.LUM.R roughly describes his own sound as R&B/Singer-Songwriter/Soul/Electronic but a quick listen tells you that these labels only scratch the surface of R.LUM.R’s compositions.
R.LUM.R played during the first weekend of ACL Fest 2017 and was kind enough to perform a live rendition of the final track “Frustrated” from his debut Afterimage EP – a single that’s quickly accrued millions of plays on Spotify and is complemented not only by an official music video but also the VuHaus video captured by the KUTX Multimedia Team backstage at Austin City Limits Festival 2017.
