In a series of splendid coincidences: It was October 28, 1972 that the U.S. Council for World Affairs announced that The Who’s “Join Together” would become their official theme song; Austin’s Music Moves Mountains Foundation, who believes that the power and healing art of music can change lives, is using The Who’s “Join Together” in their campaign video (thanks to Pete Townshend); AND this Sunday at Central Machine Works Austin, the MMMF not-for-profit is hosting a tribute to the late Who drummer Keith Moon from 4 pm-7 pm! Details at https://musicmovesmountains.org. Let’s join the Sunday fun and hear some magical drumming moments in music.
