Holy Wire’s new single examines a lack of connection.
Holy Wire‘s “I Still Feel Alone All The Time” is out ahead of a new album, The Ending of An Age, set for release June 5 via A La Carte Records. Amidst a post-punk/cold-wave shadowland, propelled by pulsating synth and bass, songwriter Alain Paradis delves into his experiences with a drastic life change, completely uprooting an existence from Brooklyn to replant his art and personal life in Austin – at the height of the pandemic. Though newer outlets of creativity took shape and flourished, the sense of isolation never left.
Vegas On the Spot hosts Holy Wire’s single release show tomorrow, Saturday Feb. 3 at Hotel Vegas, on a bill with electro pop-punk outfit Telecom (get their EP Gradient). It’s an early show; doors at 6 p.m. Go for it.
