Friday night shows: SKLOSS album release, Chess Club’s 3-Year Anniversary, Tabloid poster show opening party at Central Machine Works.
It’s overwhelming, but it’s a start. Check in with the AMM for SXSW events and so many cool showcases off the beaten path. For today, we begin with this round of must-see performances by local artists:
- Chess Club’s 3rd Anniversary Weekend tonight and tomorrow, with badasses like Mean Jolene, TV’s Daniel, Grocery Bag and The Pinky Rings in the line-ups.
- Austin duo SKLOSS has a release show for their album The Pattern Speaks tonight at 29th Street Ballroom, with The Well and Deep Cross.
- There’s the TAB LOID poster show opening party at Central Machine Works tonight, featuring sets by Restos and Mayeux & Broussard.
- CAZAYOUX and The Point share a bill with The Azmaris at Sahara Lounge on Webberville Rd.
- And Honey Made is tonight’s special guest at Drinks Backyard.
