The Austin Music Minute is supported by Howler Brothers, an Austin-based designer of creative outdoor apparel since 2011, and by Planet K, Austin’s local hemp emporium since 1990.
The Austin Music Minute has folk artist Raina Rose to thank for the introduction to Anthony da Costa. The warmth and romantic uncertainty of Secret Handshake (2012) served as one gateway to a number of captivating, exploratory solo releases including da Costa’s recent 2024 EP Don’t Worry About Me.
Da Costa’s roster includes a number of stints as an in-demand touring guitarist/vocalist with artists like Sarah Jarosz, Yola, Molly Tuttle, and Aoife O’Donovan, to name just a few. More than 20 years’ worth of songwriting and performing experience renewed his interest in one of his first loves – producing, resulting in the creation of his studio Pleasantville Recording in East Nashville.
Tonight is a double treat. Da Costa performs at Radio East, with special guest Danny Malone opening the show. Doors at 7 p.m. Two longtime AMM faves.
