Antiques‘ 2013 full-length release If You Have To Ask is a treasure of exquisitely arranged portraits with such an enticing emotional pull, with front man and songwriter Tyler Merriman giving attention to the minutest instrumental and lyrical detail on each track and creating something sophisticated and beautiful.
Here’s a show you do not want to miss. See Antiques perform tonight at Stubb’s indoor venue, 801 Red River. Also on the bill are dark disco demons Ghostbunny and Americana rockers The Chorderoys. What’s that, you say? Another tremendous triple bill?? Why, yes, it is! The music starts at 10 p.m. Very recommended.
