Today’s Austin Music Minute features an exclusive preview of the title track from Altamesa‘s forthcoming album, Idol Frontier. And something very cool is paired with the upcoming release: A short autobiographical documentary, Crooked Path: An Introduction to Altamesa, offering a bit of insight and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the band’s music.
KUTX will present the online premiere of Crooked Path on our website tomorrow, and you’ll get a preview of the new music when Altamesa performs tomorrow night at Collide, 1802 E. 6th St. They share the bill with dream-psych masters Night Glitter, and a showing of Crooked Path is included in the evening’s festivities. Everything kicks off at 8 p.m.
