With a haunted baritone guitar drenched in reverb, Dark Canyon – Chicago artist/producer Michael Franz Novak – relishes the distinctive atmosphere of spaghetti-western soundscapes. Novak weaves that Sergio Leone aesthetic into the realm of dark folk on the mystical Long Days, Pleasant Nights, like a Wild West soundtrack for the film in your mind.
