It’s each band member’s diverse musical background that places The Latin Dukes on an international trajectory.
Everybody’s bringing something to the table at this feast. Consider the magnitude of talent fueling the “ritmo latino, con corazón puro” of The Latin Dukes. Madrid-born guitarist Sergio Ramos began playing at age 7, and later honed his skills performing at venues throughout Spain and Europe as well as the U.S.; violinist/mandolinist Andrew Nobles shines as a solo looping artist, in addition to performing with may other bands and musicians like Justin Sherburn and Oliver Rajamani; bassist Chris La Cava excels in the worlds of jazz and bossa nova, as well as collaborative theatrical projects; vocalist/percussionist Roberto Moreno provides Mexican musical influences from his South Texas heritage, everything from mariachi to salsa. Bruno Vinezof (Grupo Massa) joins Moreno with additional percussion grooves, and together, the ensemble pushes beyond genres.
