Who: Dynamic duo Ethan Azarian and Jeff Johnston (who also plays in Li’l Cap’n Travis) make an extraordinary team. It is, quite simply, all the beautiful music they create, so heartfelt, disarmingly honest and compassionate. Very much like Azarian’s and Johnston’s personalities, by the way.
What: Farmhouse Recordings, made during the summer of 2013, is a stunning, haunting collection of exquisitely crafted psych-folk songs that linger in your mind long after you’ve finished listening to the entire album. Azarian and Johnston have assembled a lovely band to celebrate the album’s release tonight, featuring local artists Justin Sherburn and Nina Singh.
