Who: Husband-and-wife indie pop duo Mates of State have decided that, following their last full length release, Mountaintops (2011), EP’s are the direction they’re taking as they move forward. Their forthcoming EP, You’re Going To Make It, is set for a June 16 release, but you can also expect a best-of compilation of tracks spanning the duo’s 18-year career, and summer tour dates in June and July.
What: Mates of State started a mini-tour earlier this month, and that includes an ATX stop.
When and where: See them tonight at Red 7, 611 E. 7th St., on the inside stage. Indie folk-rock duo Good Graeff kicks the show off. Doors open at 8 p.m.
