The Halfways‘ new self-titled EP has a bit of everything delicious swirling within each of those psychedelic grooves – rock, funk, unabashed prog going hand in hand with pop, and trippy sounds from outer space. Their recent performance in KUTX’s Studio 1A was an absolute jam.
Our very talented KUTX multi-media crew will have clips and tracks of The Halfways’ set on the KUTX website very soon. But what you need to do is see The Halfways at their EP release show tonight at Hotel Vegas, 1502 E. 6th St. They share the bill with The Sun Machine and The Rotten Mangos. Get there around 9 p.m.; you need to catch all three bands. Excellent line-up. Recommended.
