Juliet McConkey mini residency at Hole In the Wall, with Kathryn Legendre and Jenny Carson.
At the beginning of the year, Juliet McConkey moved back to Austin from Virginia just in time for “the best ‘welcome back to Texas’ gift” a songwriter could hope for, the release of her sophomore LP Southern Front. Recorded at Nashville studio Rancho Deluxe, McConkey brought each folk-fueled country ballad to life with producer Jesse Noah Wilson and bandmates Sam Kossler, Dominic Billett, Shane Boeker and songwriter, longtime partner and collaborator James Steinle.
McConkey joins Kathryn Legendre and Jenny Carson in a great line-up of solo acoustic sets at her mini-residency show tonight at Hole In the Wall. Doors at 8 p.m., with the music starting at 9 p.m.
