Austin-based songwriter June Bennion extends an invitation to warm, watercolored hues of ethereal dream folk-pop and stories of resilience as Junerise. At the core of each song, from “Red Canyon Country” to today’s AMM-featured track “Rising Sun”, is a simple universal truth – be yourself.
Junerise kicks off a new residency tomorrow night at Once Over Coffee on S. 1st, sharing the bill this week with J.C. Barrett. The music starts at 7 p.m.
