The Austin Music Minute is supported by Howler Brothers, an Austin-based designer of creative outdoor apparel since 2011, and by Planet K, Austin’s local hemp emporium since 1990.
Austin-based quartet Keepsake envelops the listener in an ethereal dreamscape on their self-titled EP, summoning shoegaze shimmers from the hallowed halls of Cocteau Twins, Lush, The Cranberries…maybe a touch of My Bloody Valentine.
In early February, the band filmed their Tiny Desk contest video, which will soon be released into the world. Until then, make plans to catch Keepsake at their show this Friday at The ABGB, 1305 W. Oltorf. Austin psych rock trio Late Wife starts the music at 8 p.m.
