The AMM’s love for Large Brush Collection may have started with the 2019 single “Stand Tall,” but it was merely a gentle hint at the wondrous gifts to come with LBC’s outstanding debut LP, Off Center. Songwriter/bassist/guitarist Nora Predey plays with language and syllabic elocution throughout the album’s elegant, complex delivery. Gabriela Torres‘ magnificent flute playing is a perfect compliment to Off Center‘s striking imagery.
Join Large Brush Collection for their album release celebration tonight, Thursday Feb. 15, at The Ballroom, 2906 Fruth St. The stellar line-up features performances by Little Mazarn and KUTX Artist of the Month alum Skateland, with host Carter St. Hogan (Creekbed Carter). Doors at 7 p.m.
