A band like Sour Bridges is one of the best examples of that very beauty, and it’s because they aren’t afraid to go completely insane when it comes to making their music, which is why it’s such a brilliant and wicked hodge podge of goodies thrown into their creative melting pot.
Those Sour Bridges kids have a field day unraveling any expectations of your run-of-the-mill Americana fest by mixing it up, loading bluegrass with heavy doses of folk, country and rock – as your humble Austin Music Minute maven explained, browngrass with which to enjoy that brown whiskey.
The band is just about ready to hit the road with their special Summer De-Tour, including stops in Philly, Brooklyn, Chapel Hill, and Atlanta, but before they leave, they’re inviting you out to their kick-off show tonight at The Rattle Inn, 610 Nueces.
