You know these dudes. If not, get to know ’em. Two bands making the rounds at Stubb’s indoor venue for a show tonight:
-It’s the sound and the fury with mad love. Resident badass Joe Sparacino tackles – not tickles – the ivories in the vein of Southern funk as Dr. Joe. It’s all about the thunderous, explosive elements of unbridled piano-rockin’.
-And the volume stays up on high. Otis the Destroyer (“Van Rosita” from Keep Bashing was featured on today’s AMM) tears it past 11 with all the amplified grit for your earholes.
Your AMM host has it on good authority that both bands will very likely rock out onstage together at some point. Just go for it. Doors at 9 p.m. Recommended.
