After finishing a 3-year residency at The Continental Club, songwriter/vocalist Kalu James and his band The Electric Joint started a summertime music series at Stay Gold, 1910 E. Cesar Chavez. The 4-month stint is now coming to a close, and Kalu and company perform their last Stay Gold summer residency gig tonight, with special guests MCG on the bill. Doors open at 9 p.m.
