More East Coast show dates are in the very near future for garage pop quartet Shivery Shakes. As a matter of fact, their next tour starts out with a show this Saturday in Tulsa, and includes stops in St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, New York City, Atlanta, Nashville and several other hot spots. No surprise that this isn’t the first time front man William Glosup and crew have felt all the East Coast love, and it’s well deserved.
Of course, before they speed off in the tour van, Shivery Shakes has a tour kick-off show tonight at Cheer Up Charlie’s, 901 Red River, with sets by Providence, RI romantic rockers Roses and local fuzzed-out shimmer-pop trio She Sir. Doors open at 9 p.m. Get there early, say yes to all three, and send Shivery Shakes off with a bang. Very recommended.
