Waco’s Smooth Nature is exactly what the name implies – an organic progression of R&B at its purest, seamlessly incorporating soul, rock, jazz, blues, hip hop and whatever inspires the vibe. Siblings Marvin and Diarian Alexander – lead singer and guitarist/vocalist respectively, and saxophonist Gerald Wilburn, Jr. (those in-the-know ardently reference “Saxy G”), had an instant connection – they played their first live show just a week after they met.
