The Austin Music Minute is supported by Howler Brothers, an Austin-based designer of creative outdoor apparel since 2011, and by Planet K, Austin’s local hemp emporium since 1990.
Renown Tuvan throat-singer/experimental artist Enrique Ugalde is known internationally as SoRIAH. Every piece he composes takes on a life of its own, in a mesmerizing swirl of pre-Columbian, Indian raga and Western sounds, sung in Nahuatl (Mexica/Aztec) or Tuvana, and summoning energy drawn from a deep, mysterious well of ancient tradition.
Prepare to be spellbound. SoRIAH performs tonight at 13th Floor. It’s an excellent line-up featuring sets by Alex Maas (The Black Angels), industrial/darkwave artist Curse Mackey, and a dose of killer sensuality with artist Rona Rougeheart‘s dark electronic outfit SINE. Doors at 8 p.m.
