Perhaps it is a tad selfish to say something like, “Oh, it’s as if the Austin Music Minute put this show together!” but your AMM host cannot help herself. Tonight’s line-up at the Swan Dive, 615 Red River, is mouth-wateringly badass, chock full of local artists specializing in a broad variation of music along the electronic spectrum.
So, when your Record Store Day shopping adventures wind down this evening, head out to the Swan Dive later to catch darkwave/dark pop band Hours Quiet, arena wave/post-punk outfit KNIFIGHT (featured on today’s AMM), electro/industrial punks BLXPLTN, and experimental alt.-electro band MAMAHAWK. All good. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. And there just may be some merch in the form of – ehem – VINYL on sale, so get you some. This one’s very recommended.
