If you’re following The Deer on their Instagram (and you should), you’ve been privy to their adventures on the road, from The Hideout in Chicago to Ecker’s Apple Farm in Wisconsin. The tour is supporting their latest LP, the heart-meltingly gorgeous The Beautiful Undead, via Keeled Scales. And as they make their way back through Texas, they’re gearing up for a hometown album release show happening tomorrow night, Saturday Oct. 22, at The Parish, 501 Brushy St. It’s an excellent line-up featuring folk rock outfit Them Coulee Boys, and the ever-enchanting Batty Jr. Doors open at 8 p.m. This will feel like one enormous hug.
