Careless Creatures, last year’s release by Wiretree, is a return to songwriter/vocalist Kevin Peroni‘s musical roots. The five-track EP was recorded and performed entirely by Peroni – with the exception of “Back To the Start,” interestingly, because it really is back to the start. Wiretree began as Peroni’s solo project before the band took shape around 2007.
If you’re not yet familiar with the pop artistry that is Wiretree, start with the album Bouldin, essentially the beginnings of an incredible discography. And catch an early set by Kevin Peroni tomorrow, Wednesday Sept. 22, on the outside patio of Trace at The W, 310 Willie NelsonBlvd. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. Please remember to bring your mask.
