Nothing throws a wrench into the works like your transportation breaking down while you’re on tour. Dream-pop psych-folk outfit Food Group had to make a pit stop back in Austin in the middle of their tour recently to take care of some car issues, but despite having to miss a couple of show dates, nothing dampened their spirit. They finished up and just returned to town for a homecoming gig tonight at the Mohawk, 912 Red River.
Doors open at 8 p.m., and Zettajoule starts out the night at 8:30, followed by Food Group’s tour mates, New Orleans folk-rockers Particle Devotion, at 9:30 p.m. Recommended.
