Mexican-bred Austin transplants Gran Moreno kicked off 2026 with their debut studio full-length El Sol and since then it’s been a hell of a good time. The heavy psych duo melted faces during SXSW, landed the honor of April 2026 KUTX Artist of the Month, and just this past week stopped by Studio 1A before hitting the road to tour the new material.
In the midst of that whirlwind, the Rodríguez brothers stepped up to the My KUTX plate alongside a setlist with some real heft to it – including quite a few fellow Austin rockers plus some international acts well worth an introduction.
