The last time we had Sylvan Esso’s Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn as our guest DJs, the duo crafted one of the most eclectic mixes, covering their love of early-aughts rap, skittering electronic music, and jazzy folk. Sylvan Esso’s music kind of sits at this odd intersection, matching big pop ideas to intimate, detailed arrangements.
Meath and Sanborn took some time out of touring behind their second album, What Now, to once again take over the guest DJ controls. This time around, the duo play cuts from some of their favorite albums of 2017 alongside the usual musical curveballs.
