A major reason why we named Austin trio The Point. as our September 2025 Artist of the Month is that their influences (be they obvious or understated) are far-reaching; each member pulls their weight in terms of the strong personal tastes that gets stirred into The Point.’s sonic stew. And as they wrap up the month with the deluxe release of their 2024 LP Maldito Animal, The Point. popped into the KUTX Studios for a round-robin showcase that effortlessly navigates through language barriers and borders, making this playlist a real pleasure for any polyglot.
