Each year, Black Fret‘s members assemble a “class” from the best and brightest emerging voices in Austin’s music scene. Throughout the year, Black Fret supports these artists with financial grants, mentorship, and professional development.
Join KUTX and Black Fret on the lawn of the Long Center for live music from current and past Black Fret nominees. Summer Sessions brings these artists together for you for three Friday evenings this summer. Enjoy the music, plus food and drink, right in the heart of Austin.
