Right now, there are a lot of English bands with a lot to say about Brexit and the state of the world. Yard Act might be the best of the bunch. They mix punk energy with a sense of humor, and the lyrics fly by so fast, you just have to hold on.
Yard Act formed in Leeds, UK in the early days of the pandemic, and the band’s debut album, The Overload, came out at the beginning of this year. The songs are dense and timely, but also a lot of fun.
