Hanging heavy in the atmosphere like a surprisingly welcomed humidity suit following a hot, summer rain is the thick sound of New York’s A Place to Bury Strangers, blending their unique brand of shoegaze meets space-rock spiked with noise, noise, noise. In the last 15 years, APTBS has toured the world, earned an endearing reputation for their personable demeanor on-and off-stage. Their 5th album Pinned features the debut of new drummer Lia Braswell (formerly of Le Butcherettes), who also provides back-up vocals on many of the album’s tracks.
