Good electronic music requires a good fundamental structure, so it’s fitting that Tyler Merriman’s and Alex Woodbury’s project is called Brickwaller. Brickwaller starts off with the sonic bricks of electro and builds upon it with other elements to create some refreshing pop music. Merriman’s soothing vocals do a great job of complimenting the fine-tuned, but catchy instrumentation. Rather than sounding like every other pop group with hardware, Brickwaller’s sound is more stripped down and natural. They are opening up for The Naked and Famous at Scoot Inn tonight, and you can also catch them this weekend at ACL. Check out their Studio 1A session below!
