At this point, Carrie Rodriguez is nothing short of Austin music royalty. She is known for her songwriting, her singing in not one but two languages, her impressive fiddle playing, and now her Laboratorio concert series. Laboratorio is Rodriguez’s experiment of an all-star band with guest artists. Each concert is a different collaboration, creating new music and a different electric experience each show. Rodriguez stopped by Studio 1a this week with special guest Davíd Garza to give us a sneak peek of what we can expect this Wednesday’s Laboratorio– 8 pm at the Cactus Cafe.
