The Crisantemi Quartet owes its name to the same titled work by Giacomo Puccini, which was the first piece the ensemble performed. It is a newly created Quartet, composed by students from the Cuban University of Arts who also belong to the Youth Orchestra of the Lyceum Mozartiano de La Habana. Crisantemi debuted in San Felipe Neri Hall during the Mozart Havana Festival 2016. They dropped by Studio 1A to showcase their talents, and you can catch them performing as part of the Cuban Finale at the Bates Recital hall on 22 July.
