Devon Gilfillian 04.11.19

Hailing from Philadelphia, Devon Gilfillian grew up on a steady diet of artists like Ray Charles, Otis Redding, and Stevie Wonder, influenced by his father’s taste. He moved to Nashville in 2013 in hopes of finding success with his music and subsequently signed to Capitol Records in 2017. Leading up to the release of his first full-length album, Devon released the first single, “Get Out And Get It” earlier this year. The single was produced by renowned engineer, Shawn Everett (who has recently worked with the likes of Houndmouth, Foxygen, and Hozier), and it earned instant acclaim. Gilfillian is quickly gaining traction, having been noticed by NPR, as well as being named a Southwest Airlines “Artist on the Rise”. He is currently on tour across North America, opening for Brothers Osborne and playing a few festivals here and there. Scroll down to hear the full session, played in Studio 1A!
