Blending country, folk and rock and turning them into a finely tuned sound, Jamestown Revival has an americana sound at the core of their music that feels like your watching the sun set on your back porch. Before moving to Austin, the duo of Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance started out as friends from Magnolia, Texas. Together they’ve formed a folk-rock sound that incorporates their songwriting with harmony backed vocals and strong guitar playing. Upon releasing their album, Utah, and receiving high praise from critics, Jamestown Revival have blown up into a must see musical experience that brings an intimate approach, similar to artists such as Guy Clark and Ryan Adams. If your looking to see them live they will be playing at Derby In the City Music Festival on Saturday, May 7th, so be sure to get tickets while they’re available!
Jamestown Revival stopped by Studio 1A and put on a set of some of their songs for us. If you missed their live performance, we got you covered, you can stream it right here, on KUTX.
