“It all comes from experimenting, figuring it out.”
This philosophy on songwriting and producing has propelled the dynamic career of Jerry Paper (the alter-ego of Los Angeles native Lucas Nathan) since he began producing electronic music to eliminate his disdain for the genre in 2009. For his latest album, it was imperative for him to find the right label to disseminate his most personal record to date. And when he found his perfect label match with Stone Throw Records, out came a baby. Well, his latest album, Like A Baby, which, coupled with his dynamic musical ability and abstract songwriting, proves that Jerry Paper is still one of the most enigmatic oddballs in music.
Jerry Paper discusses finding that sweet spot for his latest album, touring, and his evolving sonic style with host Taylor Wallace. Listen to the live performance and interview below!
