To Irish alt-rockers Kodaline, songwriting is therapy. The band focuses their efforts on telling emotional truth through their music, and they hope that their listeners respond to it. And if they don’t, oh well. The band also has a go-for-broke attitude toward music. They’ll either make it big, or die trying. Good news is that they probably won’t have to die trying. With the band’s debut album, In A Perfect World, coming out this summer, their lead single “All I Want” has earned a ton of attention. BBC Radio 1 named it “Record of the Week,” it was featured on Grey’s Anatomy, and it led to them being nominated for BBC’s “Sound of 2013” poll.
Today, Kodaline stopped by Studio C today to record a live session with KUTX. You can hear the product of that session here later this afternoon! Be sure to check it out!
