We first met Little Green Cars when they stopped by our stage at the Four Seasons for an early morning performance during SXSW 2013. At the time, the Dublin based quintet was touring behind it’s debut album Absolute Zero. Now they find themselves stateside again in support of their new record Ephemera. As the title suggests, the new songs reflect the temporary nature of love, life, and things, no matter how important. Indeed, personal tragedy and the transitory nature of life on the road color almost every aspect of this album. While the subject matter may be a bit darker, the captivating harmonies and complex songwriting that made us first take notice are back in full force.
