Austin collective Modal delivers a combination of jazz, hip hop, and slow melodic rock with conviction and swagger.
Formed by childhood friends, Modal says they see their music as a way to “create the world we want to live in,” a feat they strived for on their self-titled debut album, a passionate call for compassion, understanding, and love with an improvisational heart. Just a year later the group is back with a new release titled Unfolding, their already signature jazz influenced key work and calmly delivered rhymes guiding a poetic and uplifting listen.
