New Orleans natives, My Jerusalem, moved to Austin in 2009 to play their first real show as a group at SXSW. Since they have released three albums, and have received critical acclaim and a mass fan following. Their song “Sweet Chariot” was featured in ads by both Apple and AOL in June of 2009. On their last album My Jerusalem took a darker turn musically, managing to blend dreamy folk pop with a harder alternative rock edge. The band expects to release their newest album, A Little Death, this summer on Razor & Tie imprint Washington Square.
