Despite the fact that Bjarke Bendtsen, a.k.a. The Migrant, hails from Denmark, his psychedelic folk music is already making a stir in Austin. You may have even caught The Migrant at a SXSW show or two! In a recent interview, Bendtsen expresses that “Austin is wild and has everything a Dane needs,” and it goes without saying that his vibrant and swirling music is just what Austin craves. One of the Migrant’s recent albums, Amerika, was actually recorded in Fort Worth, Texas… and mastered in Denmark!
