They Might Be Giants remain the musical equivalent of strange musical joy.
Providing listeners with a steady stream of melodic indie pop forever weird and thoughtful, They Might Be Giants, the duo of John Flansburgh and John Linnell, came together in 1982. Releasing a slew of countless studio albums, as well as composing music for television and films, the Grammy winning duo have remained consistently adventurous, both musically and lyrically, delivering their unique breed of alternative pop. The band’s latest release and 17th studio album Glean encapsulates part of the band’s ginormous Dial-A-Song project, which has the band releasing a new song every Tuesday throughout the year.
They Might Be Giants will playing at Stubb’s tonight, May 14th, and you can stream their music right here on KUTX.
