Youth Lagoon is the musical outlet of Boise, Idaho’s Trevor Powers. As Youth Lagoon, Powers shares his most personal hopes and fears, set to a backdrop of wistful yet tenacious lo-fi pop. Youth Lagoon’s first album, The Year of Hibernation, was released in 2011 and has been applauded by most critics, even making several “Best of Lists,” because of full impossible to forget melodies and stunning arrangements.
Now, Powers is back another tremendous album, Wondrous Bughouse, and he’s playing in Studio C at KUTX 98.9FM.
